Yemmi Akingbade, known to friends and the industry as Yemzi, was born in London on July 10th 1991 and was raised in Bournemouth, South-West England. She attended Oakmead College of Technology where she gained 10 A-C GCSE's.

By this time Yemzi already knew she wanted to become a model but continued her education to persue her Fashion Design dreams. Whilst studying English Language & Literature, Fine Art, Textiles and Communication Studies at Brockenhurst College she began to take modeling more seriously. Modeling was no longer a hobbie but a promising carrear path.

In September 2009, after gaining a scholarship for Art&Design at Blake College, Westminster, Yemzi will be returning to town of birth to further her design carrear and focus on becoming an established model.
